    Description

    VINTAGE CHINESE YELLOW YIXING STONEWARE MELON TEAPOT
    The featured item represents a Chinese yixing teapot that measures approximately 3 1/2" tall from the floor to the top of lid's
    finial, 2 3/8" from the floor to the top of the pot, 1 3/4" in diameter at the opening and 5 1/2" wide between the handle and the spout.
    The pot has a lobed melon shape and comes in yellow color with the lid, spout, handle and applied leaves on a vine being colored in indigo blue. The bottom bears a seal mark that translates as "Gu Qing" and there are two other smaller marks on the underside of the cover.
    The item comes in overall good condition with no major damages. There are small chips on the edges of the lid. Some scuffs, marks and scratches as well as production flaws and imperfections.
