Excluded shipping destinations and other potential shipping issues or problems:
Please note the list of countries from which bid are respectfully excluded. Apologies for the inconvenience to bidders in these countries but they are excluded because of previous unacceptably high shipping losses or theft, wartime conditions or because the countries in question have postal services that are highly unreliable to me as a seller in terms of losses, damage or undue delays. I regret having had to add China to this list recently but mail containing paper collectables was seized subject to pandemic public health regulations and disinfected, completely ruining the declared valuable contents.
Please also be aware that there have been a number of incidents recently where registered mail to European Union countries have been intercepted and subjected to excessive postal clearance charges and VAT even though the Ebay IOSS tax compliance numbers have been clearly shown on the Customs declaration on the envelope of registered letters. Customs authorities in Italy, France, Greece and Germany have been particular offenders, in my experience.
Buyers wishing to receive their purchases other than by registered airmail are invited to contact me to discuss other compliant delivery options.
