Listed here is a beautiful pen by the Parker company which will conquer the hearts of all pen lovers,
representing the perfect mixture of the best writing instruments together. This pen is the creation of one unique writing instrument which has all the best features and performance combined into one highly appealing and elegant fountain pen suitably matched with the practical characteristics of a rollerball pen.
The pen is crafted in classic black shiny lacquer over brass structure and gold plated parts.
This combination together creates a gorgeous but at the same time strong and durable pen with simplicity and elegance that only the Parker company knows how to create.
Another stylish accent is given with the flat circular inserts at the top and the bottom of the pen, where the one at the bottom is with a mirror-like finish and the top one somehow reminds us of a vinyl record.
The pen is decorated with a double band on the cap and one on the barrel, the middle one on the cap features a nice crisp engraving that reads “Parker”. The clip is shaped in the recognizable trademark Parker arrow symbolizing the company's pioneering attitude.
The Parker company uses date codes to mark their writing instruments, unscrewing the barrel from the cap reveals the dating code on this pen which is located right after the plastic treads. The date code on this pen is PII which means that this pen was produced in 2007.
The pen features a snap-on cap that closes tightly producing a satisfying click sound. The cap can be posted in order to give the pen longer length and stability while writing making it an oversize pen by any standards at 165mm.
The “nib” and the section are specially designed to bring that elegant look like the ones on a fountain pen, featuring a
slit part
close to the tip which simulates the tines and it features a nicely engraved design and the company’s branding name inscription on it, just as fountain pen nibs usually do. The refill tip is placed between the tines, hence the shape of the refill tip which actually looks like a feed unit. It is even placed on a feeder to capture the authentic feeling of writing with a real fountain pen.
The section is structured with fine vertical guilloche lines in order to prevent from getting the slippery feel in the hand while writing.
The pen uses Parker 5th generation fineliner refills and an original one in black color with an F size tip comes included with the pen. The flexible felt tip of the refill which interacts with the metal hood of the pen provides for a more comfortable customized writing experience by intuitively adapting to the natural angle of the user while writing. This is a refill that was specially made for this type of pen and it keeps the ink contained contributing for an easy and clean replacement process. The pen comes with a dummy refill which indicates where and how the original refill should be placed.
An excellent choice for frequent use as it simply glides on any paper offering smooth and easy writing with a specially formulated washable ink that dries fast and doesn’t smear on the paper.
