Description

Here is a small 5.25" x 4"h Chinese porcelain square teapot uncovered at a recent estate...We have no history with the piece and we have slight knowledge of Asian ceramics..It appears that the handle has detached? otherwise the condition is excellent..no chips or cracks or repairs...Overglazed enamels and gilt..Similar to Chinese famille verte but that would date it to the Kangxi period? I cannot state the age accurately? Certainly could date to late Qing Dynasty? I'll leave that to those with knowledge of this art...At any rate it's a nice piece...Offered with no reserve...
