BOTTLE CAP ART HANDBAG POCKETBOOK PURSE SODA DRINK HAND MADE JANET COOPER *A2PS. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.
Janet Cooper, an artist and quite possibly the Grand Dame of Upcycling. She turned her killer collection of vintage bottle caps into a kick butt hand bag that were sold in some pretty swanky boutiques and one is the Tassan Museum of Purses & Hand Bags in the Netherlands!
The caps are linked together on both sides creating a divine sound as well as swell and unique look. The purse is a black Matt fabric, interior satin/poly with a single open pocket. The silver beaded strap looks like a pull chain with 4 additional caps and a pump zipper pull. Only 1,000 were hand crafted, which is kind of astounding when you see the work that went into them and each is unique. Very rare indeed!
