Offered here are two crisp uncirculated banknotes issued by the Bank of Spain. Both notes are 5 Pesetas denomination. The first is the 16.8.1951, five pesetas, which is dark green and black on olive and orange underprint. It shows Jaime Balmes to the left of the front and an old building with a bridge in the center of the back. The note has a watermark showing Jaime Balmes and has the serial number Q2271981 printed twice in red on the back. The note has three signatures on the front. This pick number 140. The second note is the 22.7.1954, five pesetas, which is green on light lilac under print. It depicts the image of King Alfonso X at the right of the front, and the image of the Library and Museum in Madrid on the back. The note has a watermark showing king Alfonso X and has the serial number P0314346 printed twice in red on the back. The note has three signatures on the front. This is Pick Number 146. Two great notes in nice crisp uncirculated condition for the price of one to add to your collection. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

the 1951 banknote is P 140 and is listed in The Banknote Book as B606a and the 1954 banknote is P146 and is listed in the Banknote Book as B612a.
Condition:
I would grade both banknotes as crisp uncirculated with all their details being very well preserved. The notes are clean with no stains. They have no folds, no pinholes, no graffiti, no tears and no splits. They both have fully squared corners with no observable rounding. Their edges are intact showing no roughness of any king.
